Description

Here is a mega RARE vintage Miles Davis album offered up for sale:  An original 1958 pressing of "Relaxin' with with the Miles Davis Quintet" with John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. This 56 year old hard to find Jazz relic has the vintage yellow Prestige labels with 203 South Washington Ave New Jersey address! Released by Prestige Records PRLP 7129 (mono).  This rigid record grades VG, This is a classic example of a record that plays a lot better than it looks, it does have some light sleeve wear, a few light marks on both sides, has a couple of more moderate ones. This record still plays great! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good to excellent sound quality, minimal surface noise, no skips no jumps! The majority of the records surface is clean and as a result it is pretty quiet even at the record's edge as you set the needle down! Despite my low VG rating you should be very happy with the way this one sounds!  Very enjoyable listen!  A rare old record and great playing original!  The early heavy weight jacket rates VG, is clean and still has gloss, great looking artwork on front, color is good, white bright, back rear slick has torn edges (see photo), upper & lower seams have been neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape, binder is worn but is still intact and readable, (a couple of wear spots, see photos), no signatures or stickers, no stains, cover notes on back are all still readable!
