Description
You are bidding on J.S. BACH SONATAS AND PARTITAS FOR VIOLIN SOLO featuring JOHANNA MARTZY.
This is the original first pressing on Angel 35282.
There are some issues with this LP so please read carefully before bidding.
Cover is split both on top and bottom and the original Angel sleeve with the stick is missing.
Overall visually the vinyl is a very glossy VG++ and better with a few minor scuff marks
There is a slight warp on the outer edge that extends for apx ½ inch on both sides .
Play graded on my Goldmund reference turntable with a Lyra Titan i cartridge here are the results.
It will skip if played on outer warp. This will last for apx ½ a minute or thru the first ½ inch of the outer grooves Once past the slight warp there are no further issues.
Overall the sound quality of the LP is excellent with very little and minor unobtrusive background surface noise.
This LP is highly desirable and rarely comes up for auction. I’ve explained the sound quality of this LP in detail. If the above issues are a concern, PLEASE DO NOT BID.
Because of the rarity of this LP it will be specially boxed and shipping charges will be $12 to the US or $34 overseas by airmail.
