This is an auction for a 1991 LP released by Autopsy entitled "Mental Funeral."  Please let me know if there are any questions on this item and a random spot-check audio grade will be provided before the last 24 hours of bidding so please check the full listing for audio grade update later in the week.


AUTOPSY - "MENTAL FUNERAL"

This was released by Vile / Peaceville Music as VILE 25 in 1991.  The cover has copyrights of both and appears to have been made in England, but I am unsure. 

Cover / Vinyl visual = VG+ /  NM-

The cover looks outstanding with all seams holding together very well and displaying only slight wear.  Most wear appears to be light corner wear consistent with VG+, but that is really the only flaw in the cover other than small sticker residue areas on back over barcode and near upper left corner on back.  There is a unique white label on the album but no indication of promotional pressing, and the original sleeve is included in outstanding shape as well.

The vinyl looks outstanding, if not NM- than very close.  There do not appear to be any scratches, even of the smallest variety.  At worst there may be very slight surface handling wear, and even the trail-off wax is imperfection free.





GRADING :
I use modified goldmine standards in the following grades:  Still Sealed, Mint (perfect in every way, certainly never played), NM- (usually my highest grade as the sealed stuff is listed elsewhere, but indicative of near perfect quality), VG+ (outstanding, but may have the slightest of wear), VG (closer to better than average, where there is light wear), VG- (an average condition used album where there is definite wear, but not overwhelming), and G (will still play but not look or sound very nice, borderline uncomfortable listening).  I will not list items in worse condition than G.

SHIPPING
I will ship anywhere at the world at buyer expense, and get a quote for a particular location within 2 business days of being asked.  I have shipping shown with USPS media mail, but that is only because it is the cheapest option.  Delivery confirmation runs an extra .70 for domestic media mail, and it is required and to be paid by the buyer if media mail is chosen.  I will also ship any other (reasonable) service but will not use FED EX due to my hatred of them.  That aside, I would recommend USPS media mail in my experience for both shipping cost and reliability for domestic shipping. 

RETURNS/REFUND POLICY:
I will accept returns for this item, but it is imperative you contact me first in order to get a proper address, and you must contact me within 7 days of receiving the item.  I do not take returns on all items, and do not expect to take returns on this, but felt it would be nice to offer on this item.  Buyer pays return shipping and I will refund upon receiving the item back if the buyer desires.

ABOUT THE SELLER

I am a former record store owner who closed up shop and has been transitioning to an online only set up.  I also work a full time job in a shipping department, so you can bid with confidence as I have much experience in both dealing records and properly packing and shipping boxes of stuff.

After a spot check on the audio grade, the sound was very much as expected.  Each side had slightest static in a portion of the sample areas, and the visual grade was pretty accurate to the overall sound.  The lead-in to each side played fully and continuously (and quite cleanly) on a low counterweight.  If this record is not NM-, it is indeed very close and easily VG+ without a doubt.
