Description
MICHAEL JACKSON "TWELVES" VINYL BOX SET.
Very Rare 2003 UK-Only promotional Box Set, housed in superb 12" x 12" Picture Box.
The set features 7 x 12" vinyl singles, each in a unique picture sleeve, which when placed together, make a stunning picture of MJ in the Bilie Jean era! There is also a glossy paper insert advertising the "Number Ones" album.
Issued as part of the 'Number Ones' album campaign, this is one of a very limited run of 1000 featuring 12 inch or rare mixes of some of his biggest hits, including some very hard to find remixes, and the 17 Minute "Anthology" mix. They were given to a selected number of UK DJs and were never sold at retail which makes this very rare indeed.
Only Disc One was ever played and has some small spindle marks on the label from the turntable, but other than that the set is in near-mint condition and still contains the insert advertising the Number Ones album.
Mint copies of this box set usually reach a minimum of £250.00 on record collector sites and on eBay and very rarely come up for sale.
(Incidentally...if you've ever read that this box was "still sealed/shrink-wrapped"...it's nonsense! This box set was never shrink-wrapped or sealed!)
