WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS:  If you have a question on orders received, please contact us.  We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.   When leaving Feedback, please consider the following:  eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5  reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities.   SO please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music!  We have served thousands of satisfied customers  - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records.   Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of  2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.

We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays.  Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday.   We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.  We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order.  Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS:  We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping.  Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.

As always, thank you for your support!

MINT...UNPLAYED... 1969 ORIGINAL...

Very hard to find 41 year old artifact is not easy to find ...Here, thee Original 1967 first pressing vinyl that has never been played, we know, we just opened it (see details below song titles) ...

An interesting psychedelic blues band from Philadelphia in the sixties. Todd Rundgren was an early member of this group, but he does not appear on this album.  Many sixties bands tried to play blues rock with psychedelic flavor but few did manage to satisfy their music with true emotions. You won't probably put "Woody's Truck Stop" among the most impressive records of the decade but you can certainly feel what the band wanted to say with their songs. Woody's Truck Stop is an underrated/unknown album and if the band had picked a better name this album might be more known, thus sought-after,  as the music is superb, especially the guitar work. The album is a basic blues-rock affair with rural and early progressive touches thrown in for good measure, it certainly is an interesting period piece...

Woody's Truck Stop came together in Philadelphia, in late May 1966. As young teens, drummer Bob Radeloff and guitarist Alan Miller had been active in a folk group that played in the local area. After high school, Miller began attending classes at the Philadelphia College of Art, while Radeloff continued teaching guitar classes. Miller and Radeloff soon were adding drummer Artie Heller and bassist Carson Van Osten (both new college classmates of Miller's) to form a group of their own, heavily inspired by electric blues acts like the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and the Blues Project, as well as Chess blues artists and British blues-rock groups like the Yardbirds. They got their name from the motorcycle repair shop below where the band rehearsed. Various other members came and went, including Bob's brother, keyboardist Ken Radeloff. During that summer of '66, after opening for the Shadows of Knight and the Byrds, Heller was replaced, first by Tim Moore, from DC & the Senators, and then, by drummer Joe DiCarlo. One day DiCarlo brought his friend -- Todd Rundgren -- to rehearsal, and after seeing Rundgren play guitar, Bob Radeloff convinced Miller that having twin stereo lead guitarists would be a good thing-- like Mike Bloomfield & Elvin Bishop of Paul Butterfield's band. Rundgren joined and they continued playing gigs, mostly at low-key coffeehouses like The Second of Autumn and The Second Fret. They later relocated to the Boston area. Miller and Rundgren began arguing about the band's direction during this time. Miller wanted the band to remain more blues-oriented, while Rundgren wanted them to venture off in a more psychedelic-rock direction. On May 7, 1967, the band found themselves playing with the Blues Project at the Town Hall. After the audience pelted them onstage with pies, Rundgren decided to split and concentrate on his own music; he was replaced by rhythm guitarist Greg Radcliffe. Woody's Truck Stop continued on without him, and in February of 1968, the band landed on a bill with Rundgren's newly-formed band, the Nazz, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Rundgren's new band also featured bassist Van Osten, who had quit Woody's Truck Stop to concentrate on college. His replacement was bassist Ron Bogeon. Woody's Truck Stop, meanwhile, recorded their first album, the self-titled Woody's Truck Stop, at Regent Sound in New York City. It was released in 1969 on Mercury's Smash label.

Todd Rundgren was always associated with Woody's Truckstop. Todd's friend, and possibly the subject of Todd's song “We Got To Get You a Woman” is listed as providing management and production assistance.
