RARE MN ROCKABILLY 45 - Hal Fritz & His Playboys - SOMA

Here's a killer 2-sided Rockabilly record on the great SOMA label out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is Hal Fritz and his Playboys on SOMA 1089 : Three Bad Habits b/w Goin' Out On You. This record has been comped on the Minnesota Rock-A-Billy-Rock series. Both sides are uptempo rockers! The labels show only very light ringwear and a name written on each side in pen. The record plays very well! To be on the conservative side, I will grade it a NICE VG...although it's quite close to a weak VG+! Light scuffs and scratches are evident and light background noise is evident in the intros, but as soon as the music starts up the background noise is inaudible. The discoloration on the vinyl in the picture is from the lighting as the picture was taken outdoors. This is a guaranteed original pressing. Please check my other auctions and good luck!

Grading Scale:

NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.

VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.

VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.

G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.

Fair/Poor = I do not ever sell records at this grade, but they would be cracked, severly warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
