DESCRIPTION:

This is an original 1987 limited edition release 12” maxi-single 33 ⅓ RPM vinyl LP record issued by Paisley Park, Prince’s label. The condition of the cover, sleeve, and record is Near Mint - Mint. It is an original 1987 release, not a reissue.

Madhouse is the creation of Prince, teaming up with reed man Eric Leeds. This collaboration resulted in two albums, 8 and 16 (New Directions In Garage Music), both filled with instrumental jazz-funk, Prince-style. Madhouse is a rare side project of Prince doing instrumental jazz.

The track "13" from their second album is presented here in 3 versions, plus the cut "Four" from their first album. This is a very rare record, especially in this condition! Making this even more rare: it is a promotional copy, stamped in gold on the back.
