DEMO/FACTORY SAMPLE
Here's a rare chance to get a piece of history-an ORIGINAL Moody Blues DEMO/FACTORY SAMPLE Lp from 1969.
This album was largely recorded in Decca Studio One, over 3 months in 1969 and was the bands very 1st release on their new Threshold Records label in November of 1969, where it went to the No.2 position in the UK Album charts.

The Vinyl:

After giving her a gentle vacuum clean, followed by an ultrasonic bath and then a final bit of suction from the vac cleaner once again-I then listened to her, all the way through and at volume.
I am happy to report the sound remained powerful and the album was free from jumps, skips or sticks :)
There are many light marks to the vinyl, which do provide the occasional light and soft pop but nothing particularly offensive at all.
FLAT as the day she was born.

The Labels:

Two-tone Pink & Blue labels in great condition and ready for framing.
Side 1 has the Matrix Number and the record title written in ball point pen to the label, as well as the name of the band.
The side 2 label has just the matrix number for reference written on it.
Please see the detailed images for yourselves.
The record does not have a sleeve (as it was used for reference, rather than general sale) and so comes in a period blue stereo DECCA inner...which is quite worn but remains intact and is the correct period for this recording.
So folks-here is a rare record for your collection which not many other people will have!
