Book-style hardcover jacket (14" x 12.5") with 3 attached thick yellow-paper pockets. All 3 records are in very nice shape. They appear to have been played sparingly, and each disc has just a few scattered, small patches of very light paper scuff. There are no real scratches to speak of - certainly none that can be felt. Only one of the three discs has what could even be called "hairlines," and these are short, faint, and minimal - and cannot be felt with a fingernail

All three discs retain almost all of their original gloss. They are not dirty, dusty, faded, or worn in any appreciable manner - save the aforementioned wear. One of the discs does have a tiny production bump; It is tiny and will almost certainly play through.

Disc 3001, B-side has an exactly 2/16" divit - that looks like a production thing. Sometimes you see the white underneath the black surface - like a production bubble was sheaved off. This looks like that. I'm not sure how this will play. It is small, but it is there. (I have posted a photo of this, but the photo is not that effective in conveying the nature of the flaw.) 

My turntable does not have 78 rpm so I cannot post audio.

RECORD GRADING NOTE:
(All grading done directly under a 75 watt bulb, an overhead 4-foot 2-light fluorescent, and a halogen interior spotlight. I see - and mention - everything. I never grade in natural light; it masks all manner of wispy wear. If you inspect (under my lights) records graded NM or Mint by other sellers, you will almost certainly see a TON of wispy wear that is imperceptible in natural room light. Most sellers either don't know - or don't care about this, and they continue to sell overgraded records. I don'T do this. If I call a record NM or NM/M you can be certain it is FLAWLESS - under ANY light!) And my VG+ records will satisfy all but the most demanding audiophile.

GRADING KEY
(all grading done visually except where noted. I grade conservatively and carefully under three mixed light sources. IMPORTANT NOTE: I don't misuse the lower grades (VG and VG+)!! All the grades listed below are variations on clean, glossy, playable records. My VG and VG+ copies are NOT trashed dull junk. I would rather grade lower, and gain a repeat customer, than "wish" a higher grade on a record. Buy my VG+ with confidence if you are looking for a clean, glossy, listen-able record and don't want to break the bank. (On the other hand, my upper grades are BEAUTIES!! persnickity distinctions between gradients of what alot of sellers just call NM or Mint Minus)) When I call a "EX+" or a "EX/NM" or a "EX+NM-" or a "NM/M" you can rest assured that you are buying a highest quality, top-shelf, stunner. 

I really try to stick with minty, quite often unplayed copies. 
 

SCARYRECORDZ VINYL GRADING

NM/M - pristine vinyl. as if it came out of shrink-wrap a minute ago. Scary Perfect. 

NM - just oh-so shy of stone pristine. paper shadows maybe. perhaps the faintest whiff of a hard-to-find paper wisp - perhaps. the kind you have to search hard for to locate. no more than one. two would earn a lower grade.

NM- or (EX/NM) - Superbly cared-for record. a super-faint hairline (MAYBE). perhaps an extremely superficial and inaudible scuff. full shining gloss. Super Clean.

EX - a clean, full gloss, very well cared-for record. perhaps 2 or 3 "SUPERFICIAL"  paper scuffs or extremely light wispies. Intuitively higher in overall quality than a strong VG+

VG+ - A small handfull of MINOR signs of use (possibly: light hairlines, a light needle-drag, slight fading of gloss.) No real damage. clean, a perfectly acceptable playing copy.  full gloss. very nice. just not tippy top.  

VG - a playable record. still clean. not trashed. might have a scratch that can be felt. should not skip. If I use this grade I will usually give a listen to any obvious trouble spot(s), but I don't often use this grade.

As far as COVER GRADING:
I use the same letter grades, but I generally try to use multiple close-up pictures of covers, inserts, sleeves, etc. I try to mention every defect, but my giant-size photgraphs will show the exact record you are buying. (I will always mention anything not visible in the photos, ie: a seam split, spine-wear, etc.) But there are too many variables to stick tightly to a preconceived letter-grade system for covers, inserts, and inners. I try to be intuitive and mention everything. Feel free to ask questions.
