Description
An original promotional poster from 1988, advertising the New Order album Technique, and signed by uber-designer Peter Saville. Saville held two Q&A sessions during his landmark exhibition at London’s Design Museum in 2003. After each session he very patiently signed memorabilia for the audience. This was one of the pieces he signed for me. “I’ll tell you what would look really good” he said, as I handed this over, “I’ll sign it in black on black.” Well, he was right. You can clearly see his signature in black magic marker on the black background (though these photographs don’t really do it justice).The poster measures 594 x 420 mm and has never been displayed, so there are no pinholes or blu-tack marks.
