The Beatles Help! RARE 1 BOX EMI 1969 PRESS (Another from my personal collection)
Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES' 5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

Vinyl: Near Mint...As close to it as you're going to get!! Barely a mark on it! The only ones visble under very strong light are faint whispy marks from removal and replacement from the inner!! SIMPLY: THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN Sounds FAB-I played her all the way through, very carefully and was blown away with the utterly clear clarity of the audio-even with incredbly quite transitions of tracks and run-ins!! W-O-W (I even heard different arrangements and instruments I hadn't heard before)
Labels: Near Mint...There are MAYBE 3 tiny spindle marks...THAT'S ALL! No "Sold in the U.K." text. Rim text starts with "The Gramaphone Co.LTD" ONLY 1 EMI BOX AGAIN-THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!
Cover: EX. Gorgeous creamy white cover with Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks. ALL corners are still strong, with only light rubbing. The spine remainsstrong and legible. NO writing. Around 7 small fingers of spidering emanating from the spine. With only a few very light age spots. ALL ORIGINAL 1ST PRINT RUN WITH THE FLIPBACKS
Inner: EX...The original: "Add These Outstanding Lps To Your Collection" EMI sleeve. With adverts for Sgt Pepper and McCartneys1st Lp. NO splits. NO writing Just light feathering to the opening.
PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADING AND HONEST DESCRIPTIONS ('Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record and kept it in fantastic dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!)
THIS REALLY IS A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF AN INCREASINGLY RARE RECORD, SIMPLY AN ARCHIVE PIECE!!
