Description
Washington DC soul on the SHRINE Label!
The record looks about overall VG with light scuffing by Goldmine grading. It is not warped or pressed off center. It plays about VG+ as you can hear in the sound clips. It was recorded with no noise reduction so what you hear is what you get. I don't think it has had much play as the grooves are pretty quiet. I recorded the sound of the lead-in groove so you can be the judge. The labels have no stickers or writing as you can see from the scans, just some light soiling.
The Bad (but not too bad) news:
After careful examination I was disheartened to discover a very small crack about 1/2 inch long that runs from the outside diameter in. If you listen carefully to the beginning of "Takin' My Time" you can hear 2 very light clicks. This is as bad as it gets. The crack is very tight and unless the record is bent I can't believe it will get any worse than it is. This rare record needs tender loving care.
Packaging:
The record will be double sleeved and placed between six pieces of cardboard and inserted into a box made for the shipping of 45's. When I am done with it, it will be impossible to bend it. It will weigh about 12 ounces.
And finally,:
I have done my best to accurately describe the condition of this record. If you don't agree you may return it within 10 days of receiving it for a full refund of the purchase price minus the shipping. If you are going to examine it under a microscope please don't bid. This record is not for the discriminating collector. It has faults and I have honestly noted them.
Thank you and good luck!
