?Here is another great 45 from this box I got at an estate sale recently. It is The Valentines on the Old Town Label. Cuts are Tonight Kathleen b/w Summer Love. Richard Barrett on lead; another great NYC sound. Dead wax matrix numbers are OT 813-45 and OT-814-45 backwards 3 machine stamped. I would grade this a VG , the vinyl still has a fair amount of the original gloss or luster but with some scuff marks noticeable under light, labels are pretty clean and it plays real strong although with a bit of background hiss and has a few light ticks, .. I've heard that these early sound considerably cleaner with an older hi-fis that have heavier needles than more modern systems. It could be that this will sound even better if you such a set-up for playing them.
