Description

Very rare, limited edition, high sound quality, Nimbus Records Supercut LP of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".

Only available originally via mail order through "Hi-Fi Today" magazine in 1984, this version of Sgt Pepper's is one of a series of limited edition (approx. 1000 copies) exclusive Nimbus audiophile issue LPs, cut and pressed to the absolute highest standard on ICI pure vinyl from the original analogue tapes.

The labels are dipped centre black/silver Parlophone with two white EMI box logos and "EMI Records Limited" rim text. Vinyl in virtually pristine condition with no evidence of play - possibly unplayed. Matrices are YEX 637-A1 and YEX 638-B2, with block capital machine stamped "NIMBUS ENGLAND" on each side (in the run-off groove dead space near the label).

The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, as is the loose card with the cut-outs. The top outer corners of the sleeve have been very slightly dented, as shown on the photographs, but this is hardly noticeable. There are a couple of tiny scratch lines on the front cover and a small pressure mark (see photo), but you have to look quite hard to see any of these. I am mentioning these tiny faults because of the fact that this LP is so rare.

This LP is for auction only. I will not finish this auction early or sell the LP as a "Buy It Now" item. Any enquiries along these lines will be ignored. Sensible questions will of course be answered to the best of my abilities.

Postage will be free of charge. The LP will be very well packaged and will be sent First Class Recorded within the UK, and standard airmail elsewhere. If you want additional insurance, there will be a charge applied, depending on the final price. If you are outside the UK, please also be aware that the LP may be subject to import customs duties, the amount being dependent of the value declared.
