Description
Selling on behalf of a friend who has sadly and like so many been financially decimated by the pandemic. There are many more to come after this, many of which he has owned from release date. There will be many very rare items and I respectfully ask that no offers are made as all items will run to the end of the auction and I will not respond if an offer is made. Again these are not my items and im purely helping out a friend in need.
This is incredibly rare and maybe the only copy in existence?? On The R G Jones OAK LABEL, this is a full metal acetate featuring an unknown artist (If anyone knows who this is please let me know!!) and a cover of the Bobby Marchan soul classic "Shake Your Tambourine", with freak beat overtones! Great cover!!! The B side I believe is titled "If you call me, I will come to you."? Again in the similar style to the A side. Obviously 60s press date, guessing 68 / 69?? There are no markings around the dead vinyl, nothing on the generic OAK label to give any idea of the artist / press. Only a penned A above the spindle hole on one side. A great track none the less, the vocalist is incredibly soulful - just wish I knew who it was!!!! Unfortunately I can't provide a sound clip as I have no idea how to do that......

The record has been cleaned on the latest HANSS ACOUSTICS cleaning machine
