Description

Original copy of this extremely rare danish jazz album. Bent Axen: "Poll Winner 59", Fona Klubben (LPJ 416). Side One is the Bent Axen Quartet consisting of Bent Axen (piano), Allan Botschinsky (trumpet), Erik Moseholm (bass) and Bjarne Rostvold (drums). Track list: "My Heart Belongs to Daddy", "Autumn Leaves", "Little Girl Blue", "Now See How You Are". Side two is the Bent Axen Duo and Trio which is the same line up but without Botschinsky. Track list: "Jordu", "Cabin in the Sky", "Osbadulja", "Ballad", "If I Were a Bell". This album is almost impossible to find in good condition and is usually damaged by bubbles in the pressing. This particular copy is probably the most beautiful copy, I've ever come across. It has one small bubble in the last track on side one and one small bubble in track four and five on side two. Neither one of these affect playing. Both vinyl and cover is strong VG+ close to mint minus.
