Description
This extremely RARE, self-titled Orphan Egg record album was actually purchased by me in 1968. Being a packrat that I am, I held onto it for all these years (43 years)! It's in MINT CONDITION, right down to the inside sleeve. I guarantee you won’t find another one of these in such pristine condition! No splits in the seam and no scratches on the vinyl. I probably played it at most 10 times!!! It was Orphan Eggs first and only album. This album is also the first pressing and is produced by GNP Crescendo Records (CARS-8004). The band was formed by five California lads from Northern California attending Saratoga High School. It was back in those debauchery days of sex, drugs, and rock and roll! The band went on to win a radio station sponsored “Battle Of The Bands” and ended up appearing in a “B” budget sci-fy flick (don’t recall the title). The group never did take themselves too serious and ended up just fizzling out. Be sure to check out my surfing museum at www.mrsurfjunk.com for loads of rare and vintage surfing records and LP’s!
