Description

You are bidding on a rare German import recording of the Toe River Valley Boys, a fine old-time/bluegrass string band from western North Carolina, led by fiddler and singer Oscar "Red" Wilson. Other band members were E.C. Miller (banjo), Clarence H. Greene (mandolin, lead guitar), Charles Renfo Jr. (guitar), C.A. "Gus" Washburn (guitar, harmonica), Cecil "Curly" Burleson (bass)

The Toe Valley River Boys recorded two very nice LPs for the German label GHP in 1969 and 1970. On this, their second album, they present a program of old-time fiddle tunes and folk songs combined with a few bluegrass and country songs and instrumentals.

Vinyl is in E- condition. ; jacket has some issues (upper right hand corner has what appears to be rodent-inflicted damage, and there is a sticker on the upper left corner) -- see photos.
