Description

The Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Numbered 3 LP Set (SKU# 7243 8 41655 1 2; CAT# huttlp 30). Pressed in UK in 1996 on Hut / Virgin Records. Limited Numbered Edition # 5601. I purchased this in Madrid in 1996. Original factory pressing, not a bootleg version (see detailed photos of vinyl).

My best estimate of grading is EX or VG++ (jacket) / NM (vinyl). Jacket has minor scratches and minor bends around edges. Front cover has small speck of missing paint under “M” in “Mellon.” Back cover has large bend in bottom lower-left corner and minor specs of missing paint in two areas. I took some photos to capture the flaws of the jacket so you can see for yourself. The 3 LPs are in great condition. I believe I only played them once or twice when I first got them, to record the non-CD songs to a cassette (pre-mp3 era). The 12-page booklet has barely been touched, no signs of wear. The LPs have been in plastic case for past decade or so.
