CHECKER 836 PAUL GAYTEN "YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT"/"MOTHER ROUX". The record is Vg++ ; plays with very faint surface noise ; ratio of music to surface is about 9 to 1 ; labels are clean. I also have the other Checker web 45 listed. The two web checker 45's by Gayten never turn up ; neither one was listed on popsike nor . A-side is rockin' New Orleans R&B ; B-side is mid-tempo instrumental.

GRADING : MINT (M) ; M- (NM) ; Vg++ ; Vg+ ; VG ; Vg- ; G+ ; G ; G- ETC. PLAY GRADE IS OFTEN ALSO STATED. THE LABEL CONDITION IS NOT PART OF THE VISUAL GRADE ; LABEL DEFECTS ARE STATED. I do use the M (Mint) grade but not very often. My Vg++ is a record you will never have to upgrade unless there is a label issue.
