Description

Here is a nice beautiful copy of a hard to find single by The Crystals: "He Hit Me (And it Felt Like a Kiss)" b/w "No One Ever Tells You" (Philles 105). Released in 1962, and then quickly withdrawn due to complaints about the song's subject matter. The infamous A side was written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin. The B side is by King, Goffin, and Spector. Both sides produced by Phil Spector. Arranged by Jack Nitzsche.

 

The A side label has NR stamped on in in blue ink (the "NR" stamp means this record was final sale only, "no return"). The B side label is clean. Overall, VG+ condition. Vinyl has nice gloss, but some light scuffs. It comes in what must be its original generic sleeve, as it is also stamped with an NR.
