1964 DECCA SOUTH AFRICA ONLY 1st PRESS RARE PICTURE SLEEVE FM7 - 7094 Matrix no's : DR 32989 / 32991Rare ROLLING STONES 7" single as released only in South Africa - only their second release there and with SOUTH AFRICA ONLY PICTURE SLEEVE, original SILVER and BLUE DECCA labels, 4 spike push-out centre - photo is by Philip Townsend in the Beatles style - smiling and all dressed the same - before Andrew Oldham changed the marketing angle ! The vinyl retains great sheen despite lots of visible marks - mainly hairlines and paper scuffs but also some other more noticeable marks or blemishes. On playing -
Side 1 - EXCELLENT MINUS minor surface noise audible in quiet parts and odd audible click Side 2 - VERY GOOD PLUS some surface noise audible and odd click here and there
The BLUE and SILVER DECCA record labels are graded EXCELLENT MINUS - some minor visible spindle wear.
The RARE ORIGINAL PICTURE paper sleeve is VERY GOOD PLUS with slight discolouration, name in biro both sides centre top and small 1cm tear to front bottom right.
