Description
The Zombies - Time Of The Season/ I'll Call You Mine, CBS 3380 1968 Promo. Ultra rare promo copy of possibly the bands most iconic track from their incredible album Odyssey And Oracle, so scarce that from what I can tell a promo copy hasn't come available for nearly two years? This is an amazing record, the a-side is timeless in my opinion and plays fantastic on this copy with just a feint background crackle at the very start and on the end fade, the b-side is a loud piano led beat track and plays fine. Visually there are a couple of handling scuffs across the a-side and one deeper mark in the middle of the second half of the track, otherwise just light hairline marks dotted about from handling and nothing appears to affect play to me, but the deeper mark may sound the odd pop - I say maybe as I checked it on a very loud volume and against the deep bass (that near enough distorts at this level) and the heavy organ (which is shrill at this level too) I couldn't say for certain but wanted to make it aware. I didn't have any problems but at a high price it may put others off. So not mint, more like a vg visually, but plays fantastic really. Please check my other The Zombies releases currently listed, their entire Decca catalogue (first ten releases) and a promo copy of "Care of Cell 44. Happy to combine postage at cost.
