OK - this one hurts :( ...from my personal collection...
Original 1st Singapore pressing of the psychedelic impossible rarity - Simon Dupree and the Big Sound - Without Reservations (Sleeve printed in the UK)
Stereo - edition - most were mono
On Parlophone, ref PCS 7029
Matrices YEX 639-2 // YEX 640 - 3
This is a first pressing - pressed in Singapore, sleeve in England - Very Rare!!! - feel free to look, they dont come up often - this band would later go on to be The Moles (psych band that everyone thought were the Beatles in disguise - they didn't admit this until later) and then prog band Gentle Giant... this is the best (and only one in this name) album though,
The single Kites (not featured here although I do have one) was a seminal Psych record - this is them on the cusp of psych - great stuff!
They were regarded as very cool in the UK at the time.
Soul covers too, e.g. A lot of Love (northern soul track cover, original by Homer Banks) and then tracks like
Day Time Night Time (a lost kick-ass 60s track, cant believe it wasnt a smash!!) , these are standouts
Record is an EX - theres some surface marks but this plays beautifully
Inner sleeve is a plain white
Main sleeve is front laminated, flip back, Garrod and Lofthouse - gorgeous, a few hairlines, yellowing (particularly towards the opening) on the back, a cautious VG+ (sleeve notes by Alan (Fluff) Freeman.
Spine still shows all text clearly, a few lines but nothing serious at all
You will be seriously lucky to find a better copy of this gem
