Artist: Roger Rodier
Title: Upon Velveatur
Year: 1972
Label: Columbia Records (ES 90095) ---  "360 Sound Stereo - Red Label"
Country: Canada

Grading – Vinyl: VG to VG+
Grading – Cover: VG+
Grading – Booklet: VG++

UP FOR BID IS AN ULTRA RARE AND HIGHLY SOUGHT-AFTER RECORD BY OBSCURE CANADIAN SINGER-SONGWRITER, ROGER RODIER. LOADS OF GREAT PSYCH-FOLK ROCK, WITH GREAT ACOUSTIC GUITAR PARTS, WILD & WEIRD FUZZ GUITAR BREAKS & VERY NICE VOCALS & STRINGS. GREAT, GREAT STUFF!! SEE PICTURES FOR SONG TITLES!

The vinyl is nice with some scuffs and light scratches. Plays very well, with the following minor issues: Side 1, Track 2, has a double tick (or "click") at the start that can be heard for about 1.5 minutes, then disappears; Side 2 Track 1, has a couple of ticks just before the music start; Side 2 Tracks 2 & 3 have a couple of light ticks, nothing overwhelming. Very light surface noise between tracks, but the overall sound quality remains excellent. I'm grading this a very conservative VG to VG+. There are NO skips. A great deal at such a low starting bid!
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY LOOKING FOR A MINT COPY, DON'T BOTHER, THIS IS NOT A MINT COPY (SEE DESCRIPTION ABOVE)! HOWEVER, IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO GET YOUR HANDS ON A NICE, GOOD-WORKING AND GOOD-SOUNDING COPY OF THIS MEGA-RARE RECORD, THEN THIS ONE WILL DO JUST FINE, DESPITE ITS MINOR FLAWS. IT PLAYS QUITE NICELY!!

HURRY UP, I MAY JUST DECIDE TO KEEP THIS!!!

The labels are in great shape.

The cover is very nice, with light corner wear (mini bump on upper right corner), and some creases, but nothing major. A nice looking cover, with strong seams.

The **RARE** booklet is included and is in very nice shape, with minimal staining & a few light creases on the back cover. No writing.

If you are a winning bidder living in the Ottawa-Gatineau (Canada) region, we can arrange for pick-up at a mutually agreed upon location. So, save on shipping & arrange for local pick-up if you’re in or from the area!

Payment Options:
PayPal is the preferred method of payment.

Payment:
Payment is due within 10 days of the end of bidding. Please remember that a bid is a contract. If you bid, you pay. If no payment is received within 10 days (unless an arrangement to that effect has been agreed upon by the buyer & the seller), the seller reserves the right to cancel the sale and re-list the item. Negative feedback may ensue.

Taxes – Canadian Bidders:
We must charge GST/QST/HST (whichever applies) to Canadian bidders, as we are a registered small business required to collect these taxes. Please note: U.S. and/or international buyers will NOT be charged these taxes. Furthermore, U.S. and/or international buyers are solely responsible for any customs duties and/or taxes, if applicable.

Grading System:
I use the Goldmine grading system. I am by no means a professional grader, but a long-time collector, so I know a great/good/bad/terrible record when I see one! However, grading is a subjective matter, and very often, one person’s NM (which I use very rarely) is another person’s VG+.  So if you win the item but don't agree on the grading, let me know. We'll talk and come to a mutually acceptable agreement, I'm sure.

Check my Grading System!
