Description

Up for auction is this 16" 33-1/3 rpm transcription disc. This is solid, heavy, acetate on aluminum disc. It contains one full episode of The Phyllis Isley Radio Theater. The program was broadcast locally out of Tulsa, OK circa 1938. In 1939, Phyllis left Tulsa for Hollywood where she changed her name to Jennifer Jones. Within 4 years she won an Oscar for best actress in Song of Bernadette.  This complete program is titled The Fatal Empress. The sleeve is tattered and battered and has an incorrect titled penciled on it. It is an inside start on both sides of the disc.
This disc will not play on a standard record player. Special equipment is required.
I only ship to the 48 continental United States.
