Description
Hard-to-find UK pressing of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Division Bell’ L.P. (Catalogue Reference: EMI 7243 8 28984 1 2). This is a gatefold sleeve with its original inner sleeve. Condition details below. Tracklisting:

Gatefold L.P. Cover and Inner Sleeve
This copy was evidently handled when it was first released. That is not to say it is wrecked simply that there is evidence of light wear on the opening and each corner has sustained a light knock. However, to demonstrate what I mean when I say this is not that worn – the spine is still crystal clear and it is obvious that the gatefold has evidently not been opened much. The inner sleeve has not been handled much at all. One corner has a light knock (corresponding to one of the knocks on the front of the sleeve) otherwise we are not talking about a copy in which the inner sleeve is bent around the vinyl. Maybe I’m being a little conservative if I say that the overall condition of these components is EXCELLENT.
Vinyl
The vinyl displays a similar kind of wear to that of the sleeve namely that this copy was enjoyed at the time of release and then put away. Grading under intense light there is evidence of light hairline marks but I attribute these largely to the inner sleeve and the result of dust getting on the playing surface. These marks are only visible under an intense light. There are no marks that can be seen in ordinary daylight (i.e. no marks that can be seen or felt due to depth). There is light evidence of spindle wear. Graded as being in EXCELLENT condition.
Final Remarks
This is a very presentable copy. Handled and played at the time of release and then put away ever since. A superior copy will only be very subtly better.
