All that needs to be said about the music on this timeless album has been stated all before. This is yet another tour de force under the watchful eye of Roger Waters, whose lyrics and musical direction serve as intrinsic foundations to the staggering lead guitar lines of David Gilmour and the reliable support instrumentation of Rick Wright and Nick Mason.
From the narcotically alluring "Comfortably Numb" to the testosterone-injected "Young Lust," and the intrepid urgency of "Run Like Hell" to the aching yearn of "Hey You," this album is as powerful as they come.
