Description
For your consideration is this very rare and in-demand record by Rick Lovejoy. Little did I know when I posted this copy on Youtube 7 years ago would I be starting a frenzy for it. I received a lot of generous offers for this via my Youtube page, but unfortunately Youtube has made it very difficult to contact other members so I am taking the Ebay route in hopes some of the people that were interested over the years will see it here.
In all of these years only three copies have shown up on Ebay. This is an incredibly rare 45 and I am convinced it was only issued as a promo. This is an authentic copy with Bell Sound in the dead wax as well as a sideways LW, which denotes the mastering company Long Wear probably produced the metal parts for stamping. This copy appears to have been pressed by Savoy Records of Newark, NJ.
I am a strict grader and consider this a strong VG. This copy has some light label rubbing, as shown in the pictures and light handling wear. Both sides have a lot of light scuffing and some light scratches that are superficial and don't affect play. Aside from this, the vinyl is nice and shiny and the record has been professionally cleaned.
Considering the first copy sold for $140, the 2nd sold for $225 and the 3rd sold for $745, this value of this record is rapidly increasing. Therefore, I feel my "Buy It Now" price is fair. If you would like the auction to be ended early go ahead and click "buy it now" and it's yours.
Shipping within the US is free. Unfortunately, international shipping has skyrocketed and shipping out a record with international insurance can easily cost upwards of $60, if not more. Please keep this in mind. I will not gouge or overcharge you on shipping, but considering the big chunk of this auction Ebay and Paypal will be taking out, I can't offer free international shipping. Due to the rarity of this record I will ship it insured, with delivery confirmation AND I will require a signature for delivery. Please consider this before bidding.
