This is a straight transfer from the actual record in this auction, with NO noise reduction or click removal processes applied. This will give you a basic idea of the playing condition of this record. Please be aware that mono records are properly transferred summed to mono, which generally cancels out some of the surface noise. Mono records played in stereo will sound more noisy. I can't accept returns for mono records that don't sound as good played in stereo.

Notes: Guaranteed original press. I can't find any other examples of this 45 having sold online, or any pictures of it or audio clips of the music. The only mention I can find of it is in the "about" section for one of Richard George's own YouTube videos (of a different song), which I've summarized here: "Surfboard For Christmas" (along with the B-side "Shum-Doo-Bee-Doo") was recorded in 1963 as a demo for George to pitch to his friends The Beach Boys, but they weren't interested in the song, so he pressed up a small number on his own "Season's Greetings" label to send to other industry folks. Richard Delvy of The Challengers responded to the demo, leading him to produce George and a few of his friends as The Woodies (later known as The Woods).
