RARE Psych Prog LP-Brimstone-Paper Winged Dreams-NICE!   Description Hi, this is an LP by Brimstone, "Paper Winged Dreams", issued on their own Brimstone label. This psych/prog/religious album is always in demand and peppers many collectors want lists. The tracks are SIDE ONE: "Dead Sleep At Night", "End Of The Road", "Etude/Fields Of Clay", "Illusion/Paper Winged Dreams", "Prelude in C Minor". SIDE TWO: Suite in Five Movements - "Prelude In C Minor", "Song Of Fifths (Thanks To Our Friend)", "Interlude To You", "Ode To Fear And Loneliness", and "Epilogue: Forever". Band members are Gregg Andrews, vocals; Christopher Wintrip, electric guitars, classical and acoustic guitars, voice; Bernie Nau, Hammond A-100, 1920 Steinway, ARP synthesizer, clarinet, voice; Ken Miller, bas guitar, voice; and Jimmy Papatoukakis, percussion, voice. I'm listening to this as I write to try and detect some influences. This sounds very 1971 to me. I can definitely hear a YES influence, maybe a bit of MOODY BLUES. Definitely a British type sound, although these guys appear to be from Ohio. Condition wise, the cover is a solid VG+ to VG++. No splits, just a little corner wear, some light ring wear, and some minor bubbling under the back cover slick -- looks like maybe the slick wasn't totally flat when it was put on (this is only towards the bottom of the slick). The record is also a solid VG++. There is some minor scuffing, and there are a few spindle trails around the center hole. Very well cared for, this one --- I could see someone without my award winning eye for detail calling it NEAR MINT!
