this is an extremely rare official radio station transmission of Hall of Fame Sox slugger Ted Williams final day in a Sox uniform. side one features speeches from local politicians talking about Williams' achievements & side two features Wms famous "Knights of the Keyboard" speech & then a re-broadcast of his last home run in last-at-bat
there are numerous scratches on this well-played rarity resulting in two skip-overs on side 1 there is prominent background hiss throughout but this historic transmission is clear & enjoyable particularly on side 2 which is the most interesting as it features Williams speaking & the re-broadcast of the final home run.
A wonderful extremely rare one-of-a-kind baseball artifact re-capturing a legendary moment in baseball history
