Description
Available for auction is a very clean copy of a very noteworthy recording. One of the best recordings ever made of Mssr. Heifetz, this album can be found on Harry Pearsons The Absolute Sound (TAS) LP list.
Here is performed the Sibelius Violin Concerto by Jascha Heifetz and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Walter Hendl.
Recorded in 1959, this original edition, audiophile, first pressing features "shaded dog" labels with "TMK(s)" text and matrix numbers:

Sleeve is NM with minor wear. Original inner sleeve is NM with minor wear.
Vinyl is NM (play tested) without audible defect, VPI machine cleaned with L'Art du Son, it is shiny and without spindle marks.
