Description

VERY RARE

RCA VICTOR 78 RPM PICTURE DISC

PAUL WHITEMAN

In a Tabloid Version of

'As Thousands Cheer'

(Irving Berlin)

&

'Let 'Em Eat Cake'

(George & Ira Gershwin)

RCA VICTOR

39003-A

39003-B

This vintage picture disc is in very good condition.

I cannot find any dates for the recordings but assume 40's when these discs were mainly produced.

The spindle hole is unworn and there are no spindle marks.

The playing surfaces appear very good. There are some hairlines. I do not have the equipment to play the disc, nor would if I did.

There are some numbers written on the run-out of the 'Thousands' side (see photo). These can probably be removed (I wouldn't attempt it).

As Thousands Cheer

Program:

How's Chances - The Orchestra

Supper Time - Ramona and Orchestra

Easter Parade - Jack Fulton and Orchestra

Not For All The Rice In China - Ramona and Orchestra

Let 'Em Eat Cake

Program:

Mine - Bob Lawrence with Orchestra

Let 'Em Eat Cake - The Orchestra

Union Square - Bob Lawrence and Rhythm Boys

On And On And On - Rhythm Boys with Orchestra

Mine - Bob Lawrence and Ramona with Orchestra

This is an extremely Rare Collectors Item.

Please see my feedback for the accuracy of my descriptions.

Will be posted in a Proper Reinforced Record Mailer.
