Description

RARE record! IVAN (Buddy and The Crickets) "Real Wild Child / Oh You Beautiful Doll" CORAL blue label promo # 9-62017.
As the story goes, this is Buddy Holly on the lead guitar as well as singing in the background, as this recording is done by Buddy and the Crickets under the name of IVAN. This promo has some very light "smaller-than-hairline" paper scuffs on it, but nothing that is audible to my ears. Listen to it.
The regular reddish Coral label of this record is scarce enough, but considering that there is only one promo for every eight-hundred or more regular commercial-records issued, (for recordings that become popular) this one is quite rare.
I have recorded "Real Wild Child" from this actual record. You may hear part of it below..or I can send you a link to hear the whole song if you request it.
CLICK HERE TO HEAR. The song is said to have originated in Australia, a great country for music and collectors of rare records. QUESTION? Bring it on.
