Description
One of only two in existence. Acetate genre, with annotation ''YOUNG DUDE.'' '' Yobbo.'' Printed ('A ) 45 rpm MONO,' '(B) 45 rpm MONO 'DIRTY HARRY' stamp. Is certified as 'YOUNG DOUG' performing Lloyd Parks' ''OFFICIALLY.'' Several other songs are 'toasting' versions of Horace Andy's ''YOU ARE MY ANGEL'' and a CORNELL CAMPBELL track and ''SKYWALKING . ''YOUNG DUDE/DOUG'' is the sobriquet of STEVE RICE DJ ( international, world renowned globetrotting interstellar supernova) whom recorded for PAMA on UNITY UN 573 'SKANK IN SKANK.' This acetate was recorded in 1973 prior to the UNITY release and followed-on from his success as a soundman in Clapham where he ran his own sound-system. This was after he ditched his Old Etonian lisp and changed his name from JULES FONTENBLEU-CANDELABRA and gave-up his job demonstrating the CORBY TROUSER PRESS at THE SAVOY.
The acetate plays but has heavy residual acoustics, due to wear.
