Description

Mort Shuman - Turn Me Loose/ I'm A Man, Decca F11184 1959. Very rare and scarce debut UK 45 from Shuman which has two great tracks. The a-side is a raucous rock n roll r&b number with the b-side airing more on the r&b side. Visually this is marked throughout, coming up as roughly a vg with light hairline marking dotted throughout, and plays great with just a light crackle and pops on the very beginning intro and a couple of light pops towards the end and end fade of the a-side, the b-side playing fine, and complete with the original Decca company sleeve. I have speculated on a buy it now price given the end result of a couple of sales in the last few years with either vague or low grades and again this is the only copy currently on ebay. Happy to combine postage at cost.
