Description
Guaranteed ORIGINAL Charles Dean and the Rondells on BENTON # 103/104, the record is a strong VG to VG+ condition. There are 3 tiny little flaws on the name FRANK as you should be able to see in the photos, it looks like somethig stuck on the label, very minor, they may come off but I haven't tried. Vinyl is nice with plenty of gloss & light sleeve scuffs, there is noticable scratch on the ITCHY side that isn't that audible. The record plays through nice with hardly any surface noise. TRAIN WHISTLE BOOGIE / ITCHY. The A side was written by Harmonica Frank Floyd and he actually plays harmonica on this side although you can't hear it on the record. This disc is very RARE, only 300 pressed and they hardly ever come up for sale. The few who already have a copy are in no hurry to sell there's, so here's your chance to own one, no telling when another will be offered. I accecpt paypal or money orders. The record will be mailed in a new record mailer with padding. If you have any questions please ask, thanks for looking!
On Mar-24-07 at 16:46:18 PDT, seller added the following information:I have had a couple of questions about asking me to end this auction early, I am going to let the auction run it's course. Also, someone asked about the playing condition of the record. The TRAIN WHISTLE BOOGIE side plays excellent, with only a couple of light ticks in one of the 2 guitar breaks. Sounds really clean even through the quiet parts of the song, It really does play nice. If you're really interested, keep this in mind. This 45 does not turn up for sale often, I see things like Elvis on SUN or Charlie Feathers on METEOR listed as rare, they are not that rare, if something is available for sale 24 hours a day 7 days a week, how can it be rare? This is truly one of those that only a small handfull of copies are accounted for, kinda like Billy Barrix on CHESS, ( just my opion ). And again, when will one show up again? Who knows.
