Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring Scorpions.
A few unique things about this item:
Firstly, this record retains the original shine with some very light marks and small scuffs grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.
I don't claim this record is mint. I took the time to play the entire LP and found the tracks to audibly average above VG+(excellent). You can assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!.
Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ than how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).
Here is a summary of the record(s):
Artist: Scorpions Title: In trance Record: Black vinyl with the original shine and some very light marks and small scuffs grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: Black with silver/white print. No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, ??? spindle marks. Trailing wax: Side 1: "AYL1 4657 A 4". Side 2: "AYL1 4657 B 3". Inner sleeve(s): There's a generic Mercury sleeve with a split down one side, so I can include a generic sleeve, if requested. Cover: Corners moderately/heavily worn, a few creased tips. No pen/pencil marks. No seam splits, but heavy seam wear. No stickers. Slight general ring/wear. Some short crinkles off the edges and some short ripples off the front spine edge. Rate the cover VG, maybe a bit less. You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Comments: I found the tracks to audibly average above VG+(excellent). Frankly, the loudness of some of the tracks probably covered up some imperfections. You can assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE SHOWN!. A good addition to your LP collection. Side 1: Comments: Dark lady Some very light pops b4 the music ramped up (3.2) In trance Some scattered very light surface noise (3.4) Life's like a river I couldn't hear anything wrong (4.0). Top of the bill A few very light /light pops at the end of the track (3.0) Living and dying Some scattered very light pops (3.2). Side 2: Comments: Robot man I couldn't hear anything wrong (4.0) Evening wind One light pop, some scattered very light pops and very light surface noise (3.0) Sun in my hand A consistent very light pop (2.9) Longing for fire I couldn't hear anything wrong (4.0) Night lights Some scattered very light pops, heavier towards the end of the track (2.7)
Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:
- NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
- 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
- 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
- VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
- VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
- G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise
I normally ship single LP records in a 13x13x2 box. Weight with box is about 15 oz. Shipping is 0-1 pounds Media Rate, $3.19 + $1.20 box = $4.39
Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 15 oz. Shipping is $3.82 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $5.52.
This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $4.39 This includes online tracking. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra. Payment received within ten days of auction ending. Payment via Paypal preferred.
