Description

Original mono issue from 1964. United Artists didn’t have their own pressing plants, so they contracted with a number of plants throughout the US. This is a Columbia Records contract press, likely from its Pitman, NJ plant. This plant did not shrinkwrap the covers, but rather sealed the record in a perforated, curved plastic bag and placed it inside the cover. This record is still sealed in its perforated bag, as it has been since 1964.


You can tell this is a first pressing due to the song title error on Side 1 (I Cry Instead). The back cover has publishing credits on three lines.


Cover is NM-. Vinyl is mint, sealed in its original perforated baggy.
