Description
Rare sealed first press of ex Velvet Underground JOHN CALE "THE ACADEMY IN PERIL" REPRISE MS 2079. COVER BY ANDY WARHOL. Record is still sealed MINT. COVER : corners have been bumped ; one or two insignificant age spots; right side seal partially open. NOTE : The company name "Warner-Bros. Records Inc." appears on the left edge of the cover. I am assuming it is "Reprise" since all others are "Reprise". Since it is sealed I can't verify what's on record label itself. This was in a stack of about 40 albums that I bought from a record "hoarder". They were all sealed and many were promos and mostly Warner-Bros./Reprise. Have not sold on ebay in over two years [have been buying a lot]. Will be listing a few nice LPs in the next few days. Expect secure packing and fast service.
