In 1972, the book, The Selling of the President, was adapted into a short-lived Broadway musical which ran for only 5 performances.
SYNOPSIS: In 1968, Presidential candidate Richard Nixon's staff increases his popularity through a series of carefully orchestrated TV advertising campaigns, in this musical based on the book by Joe McGinniss.
