Description
Item for sale is the rare 1970 Shilo album featuring Don Henley, on Amos Records, this was the 1st record that Henley performed on with his band SHILO from Texas. Don played drums and sang on the album and wrote 3 of the songs on this album.
Members of Shilo were Mike Bowden, Richard Bowden, Don Henley, Jim Norman and Al Perkins.
The back of the album lists all members, when and where they were born and instruments they played on the record.
This is the first group Don Henley was in before moving on to The Eagles and super stardom.
Songs on the album are "Simple Down Home Rock and Roll Song For Rosie", "I'm Gone", "Left My Girl In The Mountains", "It's About Time", Swamp River Country", "Same Old Story", "Railroad Song", "DU Raison", "Down On The Farm" and "God Is Where You Find Him".
Record looks to be VG++ condition while the cover is VG with 4 inch split at the bottom, record is a cutout, and does have creases and corner bends in the cover.
