Description

RARE SOUL ROCKER 45-JIMMY MITCHELL-THE WHIP on GOLD STANDARD

artist: JIMMY MITCHELL (And The TERRY TUNES)
title: THE WHIP b/w LITTLE QUEENIE
label / cat#: GOLD STANDARD / 156 (Original Pressing with "38 Nashville Matrix sm - music city" in dead wax)

condition: EX+ (Vinyl is extremely shiny and beautiful! There's just a couple light surface scuffs/marks that do not effect play at all. Music plays loud & strong both sides with no loud or notable pops or noise at all to mention. Please do listen to the excerpts below taken directly from the 45. Labels look fantastic with no real signs of wear to mention. Really NICE!!!)

This is one killer RARE Soul ROCKER!!! This immensely scarce 7" is in heavy demand both among Northern Soul DJs as well as Early 60's Rock & Roll & Rockabilly collectors around the world...an absolute killer deep down shaker! JIMMY MITCHELL & The TERRY TUNES bust it out & break down the boogie with the Northern Soul Rocker "THE WHIP" that is destined to rip apart the dancefloor upon impact. The b-side is an absolute killer version of "LITTLE QUEENIE", upbeat and out-of-sight in that Nashville blue-eyed Soul meets Rockabilly complete with speed-induced rockin' & boppin' piano & guitar all the way through! Please do take a listen to the excerpts below taken directly from the actual record. I have set the opening bid very low on this wonderful 45 with no reserve, so don't miss out on this one! Thank you for viewing my auction & Good Luck winning! I will happily ship worldwide. Paypal only Please.

please note: eBay has recently changed their policy on what is an acceptable rating score for detailed seller rating feedback...basically any rating less than 4.75 stars out of 5 is considered quite bad from now on by eBay and can actually prevent sellers from posting any new items for sale...I know it sounds rather harsh on their part, but unfortunately it is also true. Please take this into account if you decide to leave detailed feedback ratings for any of my items here on eBay. I truly do try my absolute hardest to make buyers happy with their transaction, quite often losing some money on shipping/packaging costs in order to hopefully retain my status as someone that can continue to sell future items. So please do leave 5 stars if you kindly would so that I can continue selling wonderful & rare records here on eBay. I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read this. I know it might seem a little annoying, but I feel it is absolutely necessary at this point to share this knowledge with all buyers and sellers so that it is completely understood by all.
