This is an extremely rare album. Never released in the UK, it features songs that were included on the US album of the same name yet bears a different cover photograph. This cover shot is of the band on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. This album is so rare that it is valued in excess of $1000 on the website detailed below!! This is a really rare item and a unique opportunity for any Beatles collector to add a much sought after item to their collection. The price starts low and there is no reserve on this 10 day auction.

"The OPX/ZTOX series albums are hard to find. The first of the ZTOX/OPX series appears to have been issued in mid-1964, not in March as reported in some literature. Although the OPX numbers have always been reported as being the same as the stereo numbers, this is not the case. Furthermore, although Hard Day's Night and Something New are reported as part of this series, no copies have surfaced with the ZTOX/OPX designation only"

In grading this item I have used the Record Collector guide, as copied below. I have given as honest assessment as I am able to .

Record -  good

Sleeve - Fair

Record Collector grading guide

MINT = Record is brand new with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.  Cover and extra items are in perfect condition.  

EXCELLENT= Record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.  

VERY GOOD = record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.  Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without major defects, is acceptable.  

GOOD= The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.  The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.  

FAIR = The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.  The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
