Description


You are bidding on a first pressing of The Doors classic Self-titled LP. This is the infamous mono pressing on the tan/gold Elektra label. The cover says stereo on the front as some of the copies did back in the day but the LP clearly reads and plays in mono. The mono mix is of course the more desirable mix of this album with Morrisons ad-libbing during The End much more audible and thus incendiary. 


The LP has been play graded and visually graded in VG+ condition. Light surface  scratches abound due to removal from sleeve over the years. Plays with a little background noise as a result during the quieter sections but nothing too distracting. No skips. 


As for the sleeve, it is graded in EX/VG+ condition. No tears rips stains or writing on the sleeve anywhere. Again this is a Stereo cover. See pix for more details.
