Own a piece of music history with this rare "The Motown Story: The First Twenty-Five Years" 7-record promotional box set (PR-121).
Produced in 1983, this set was originally distributed as a DJ copy to radio stations to broadcast a comprehensive 7-hour retrospective of Motown Records.
Narrated by Motown legends Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson, this set is a must-have for serious collectors of soul, R&B, and radio industry memorabilia.

- Complete 7-record set (DJ Copy).
- Original, detailed radio cue sheets (Segments 1-14) covering the entire broadcast timeline.

Condition:
This set was sent out to a local radio station but was used a small amount of time. The vinyl, sleeves, and cue sheets are in fabulous "NM" (Near Mint) condition. The outer box is solid, with expected scuffing from being moved around for 40+ years. The inclusion of the original cue sheets makes this a highly sought-after, complete archival set.
Vinyl was played only a few times for tape transfer.
