this is a rare stax lp treasured hits from the south stax 702 presented by nick charles several memphis artist are on this album not only from stax but phillips and sun records also the artist are carla thomas, carl mann, charlie rich , the mar keys , william bell, nick charles jerry lee lewis , booket t. & the mgs , thomas wayne and bill justics the cover has no seam splits no ring wear no spine split no nicks or chips on the edges if not for some light markings this cover would be near mint . of all the albums i have ever seen i have never seen such large contrast of the condition of a cover and record as this album is the record is in very very bad condition it has scuffs and scratches when played it has a light constant background noise a couple of tracks even skip . one side plays better than the other some tracks play better than others . the background noise does not over power the record. if this was not a rare album and the cover was not in such great shape i would not even list this lp . maybe someone will want this album for the coverprice rating
