Description
THE ULTIMATE COLLECTOR'S CROSSOVER: TAYLOR SWIFT X FLEETWOOD MAC
For sale is an incredibly rare and genuine factory mispress of Taylor Swift’s 2020 masterpiece folklore ("In the Trees" brown/beige edition).
The Error: Due to a documented error at the MPO pressing plant in France, a small batch of these records was pressed with the wrong stamper. While the labels and sleeve are all Taylor Swift, Side A actually plays Side A of Fleetwood Mac’s iconic album Rumours (including "Second Hand News", "Dreams", and "Never Going Back Again"). Side B plays the Taylor Swift tracks as intended.
Condition Report:
-
Media: Mint (M). The record has only been played a handful of times to verify the mispress and show to friends. It plays beautifully with no skips or noticeable surface noise.
-
Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+). The gatefold sleeve is in excellent, crisp condition with one minor exception: a slight crease on the top-left corner (please see the dedicated close-up photo).
-
Extras: This copy includes the original hype stickers ("In the Trees" and "Parental Advisory"). These have been carefully preserved and are attached to a high-quality protective outer poly-sleeve, not the original shrink wrap.
Provenance & Verification: The "dead wax" / runout etchings confirm the MPO identity (Matrix: 20-0254 / 206981E1). This is a verified, authentic copy of one of the most famous "happy accidents" in modern vinyl history.
