 7" Vinyl Bootleg: The Jam / Paul Weller "4 Trax EP" No:001a/400

 Here for auction starting at 99p is the very rare above bootleg single 7" EP - purchased by myself in the very mid 90's from Merc on Carnaby Street.

This auction is a very rare "4 TRAX 7" vinyl from Modernist Music ref - 001a (The Woking wonders and friends) -There were only 400 of these pressed and it has become a much sought after record. Complete your collection while you can! The vinyl and sleeve are in very good condition -this record plays at 33rpm.

The four tracks on this record  are - 

1) The Style Council - Sure is Sure.

This was to be the Council's follow up single to 'Long Hot Summer 89', but instead it was rejected by Polydor along with the new album 'A Decade of Modernism'.

2) The Jam - Heatwave (Recorded live at the Music Machine, London 12/12/80)

Shane Macgowan of the Nips/Pogues guests on vocals for this track taken from a 'secret gig' celebrating Weller's parents wedding anniversary.     

3) Bruce Foxton - Smithers-Jones (Recorded live at The Lyceum, London 22/5/84)

A reworked version of Bruce's most famous Jam song, often played as an encore during his solo career.

4) The Paul Weller Movement - Work to Do (Recorded live at the Town and Country Club, London 5/12/90)

Originally a minor hit in US for the Isley Brothers, Work to Do was played during most of Weller's first solo tour of Europe and the UK.

For a record over 20 years old its in very good condition - tested plays fine - sleeve in very good to excellent condition. 

This sought after 7" is as rare as "the England football team winning a major trophy"
